Anti-aging and lightening properties of cannabinoid cosmetics
Plant-based cannabidiol is useful in cosmetics or topical applications for skin lightening or bleaching, and as a powerful anti-aging ingredient. Ukraine has developed special formulations that exploit the exclusive properties of plant-based cannabidiol for anti-aging and skin lightening purposes.
Considering the appearance on the Ukrainian market of cannabinoid
cosmetics, the recipe of which includes cannabidiol of plant origin, the editorial
board of the specialized electronic publication of national hemp growers asked
the specialists of the “ Hemp
University ”,
who conducted natural experiments, to tell about the unusual therapeutic
properties revealed during the testing of cosmetic products of the national
line “PHYTODYNAMIC CANNABINOID COSMETICS”. Traditionally, the information
provided is published without any changes or cuts.
Plant-based cannabidiol has many advantages over other ingredients
used to make cosmetics. In addition to the fact that phytocannabidiol has
antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal properties, and is also an extremely
effective moisturizer, our foreign colleagues have discovered the following
exclusive characteristics of plant-based CBD during experiments:
• effective restoration of facial endocannabinoid receptors;
• solution to the vast majority of problems related to appearance
– pimples, acne, acne , etc., including the prevention of cancer;
• restoration and exponential regeneration of epidermal cells;
• dramatic improvement in the appearance (quality) and condition
of the skin;
• reduction of visible manifestations of swelling;
• reduction of the number of wrinkles, as well as solution of
problems of “fine lines” and “crow’s feet”;
• skin strengthening and tightening;
• stimulation of collagen production, reducing signs of aging;
• solving problems related to changes in skin color;
• lightening - reduction of melanin production, as well as a
reduction in the amount of melanin in local areas of the skin.
I would like to expand on the last few points in more detail due
to the fact that the properties of cannabidiol obtained from the hemp plant are
most effective in professional or specialized cosmetics that solve a strictly
defined nature of problems.
In the course of the conducted experiments it was determined that
anti-aging formulations should include not only plant-based cannabidiol, but
also one or more natural antioxidants or anti-wrinkle agents , anti-inflammatory
components, emollients, and proactive substances. The developed combinations of
therapeutically active substances, based on the properties of plant-based CBD,
can interrupt or prevent the production of tyrosinase and melanin and provide a
reduction in fine lines, crow's feet and wrinkles, as well as strengthen and
tighten the skin, preventing its sagging.
Skin whitening may involve lightening the color of the epidermis,
reducing melanin production, reducing the amount of melanin in the skin,
reducing visible redness, or a combination of these.
Below are photographs of an experiment conducted demonstrating the
lightening properties of CBD cosmetics or topical products. In particular,
photographs 1A-C show the effects on skin exposed to liquids containing cannabidiol.
The results clearly demonstrate a significantly lighter skin tone, reduced
pigmentation, and a reduction in visible spots such as freckles after using
specialized products containing plant-based cannabidiol.
The control cream, 0.5 milliliters, was applied morning and evening every day 1 inch above the wrist of the left hand and in the evening every day to the entire back of the hand to the fingertips. The lightening cream, 0.5 milliliters, was applied in the morning 1 inch above the wrist of the right hand and to the entire back of the hand to the fingertips. Noticeable lightening of the right hand began to occur after 2 weeks (about 14 days) of use and continued throughout the period of use of the CBD cream. The left hand remained unchanged throughout the treatment period. No signs of irritation, rash, redness, itching or discomfort of any kind were reported during the entire study.

Lightening of the skin and reduction of freckles are noted on the
back of the hand compared to the forearm.
Conclusion : Cannabidiol of plant origin is advisable to use in cosmetics or topical products for skin lightening or whitening, as well as a powerful anti- aging ingredient. In Ukraine, special formulations have been developed that exploit the exclusive properties of plant cannabidiol, aimed at anti-aging and skin lightening.
