Using Cannabinoid Cosmetics to Solve Skin Problems

Experiments conducted by national experts on the use of the leaves and inflorescences of technical hemp of therapeutic orientation in the composition of formulations of various cosmetic preparations demonstrate the effectiveness of their use for the treatment of a number of skin diseases. That is why we draw the attention of our dear readers and listeners to the materials of our colleagues from economically developed countries of the world, confirming the achievements of national scientists. In particular, I would like to note the data of a survey published in a specialized journal, which suggests that cosmetic preparations containing therapeutically active elements of the hemp plant make sense to use in everyday life, not only taking care of the skin, but also with the purpose of treating a number of diseases of the integument of the human body.

According to a survey published in the Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases, the use of cosmetics made with phytocannabinoids (therapeutically active elements of natural origin) is associated with tangible benefits for patients / consumers, including skin conditions such as epidermolysis bullosa ( BE). 

A team of researchers from the Netherlands and the United States surveyed EB patients across five continents who reported using a variety of natural cannabinoid formulations to treat their disease. Patients reported using phytocannabinoids as topical cosmetics in addition to consuming foods containing therapeutically active elements of the hemp plant.

Previous studies conducted by both national specialists and scientists in a number of economically developed countries confirm the results of surveys of Dutch and American scientists that local preparations (ointments, creams, etc.) and also oral use (food, various additives ) therapeutically active elements of the hemp plant are effectively used to treat the symptoms of EB. In addition, there is documented use of phytocannabinoids in patients with incurable leg ulcers and itching.
