Hemp, as one of the main culinary ingredients
The popularity of cannabisa seeds, roots, leaves and inflorescences as a source of therapeutic substances, primarily non-narcotic cannabinoids contained in food products on the market, is so rapidly growing that many companies from other sectors of the economy change the main profile of activity in this direction, invest in hemp business huge resources, massively open the point of sale of innovative hemp products, creating a variety of marketing tools aimed at enhancing tiveness in the market.
Innovative CBD-containing products were presented at the official celebrations of the Food & Wine Classic culinary festival in Aspen (Colorado) - one of the most popular gourmet festivals in the world. For the first time in 37 years of its existence on June 14–16, 2019, Food & Wine Classic members welcomed Grön CBD and Fleur d'Henri, engaged in the production of cannabidiol (CBD), as exhibitors at the Great Tasting Pavilion, which hosts the world's leading producers of food, wine, spirits, travel and hotel services.
This event is rightfully considered the pinnacle of awareness and the highest level of approval that has ever been watched by the movement for the use of cannabis in the field of nutrition and health. The participation of more than 5,000 visitors - from industry managers and business leaders to ordinary consumers at the Food & Wine Classic offer tremendous opportunities to showcase goods and a sharp jump in interest in them, primarily in the grocery market.
The festival presented a wide range of products made with consideration of the therapeutic properties of drug-free cannabinoids. At the Food & Wine Classic exhibition stands there were chocolate, various snacks, hemp oil, cocktails, dietary supplements, as well as tinctures from hemp leaves and inflorescences. In addition to the exhibition, a charity run was organized, during which the athletes had the opportunity to test the proposed samples of the cream with CBD: before the competition, to improve their results, and after the sprint - to relieve pain, muscle tension, treatment of micro-damage to the skin, i.e. for quick recovery after exercise.
It is noteworthy that all products from hemp raw materials were with a zero content of psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol, which excludes the possibility of their use as a narcotic drug, at the same time making it useful for human health. According to the participants and the conclusions of market specialists, CBD-containing products clearly occupied a central place at the Food & Wine Classic culinary festival. Experts in the US food market with a high degree of probability say that products made from cannabis with a high content of drug-free cannabinoids will take a permanent place at the table of consumers in the near future both in the US and around the world. In particular, the chief editor of Food & Wine, Hunter Lewis, is confident in the successful future of cannabis with a high content of drug-free cannabinoids. He argues that “this crop will receive great recognition and an incredible amount of research and investment over the next 10 years. Large industrial giants will try to acquire the best of new brands to meet growing consumer demand. ”
