Hemp morning coffee at AgroFM
On its six hundredths, it was officially legal to plant a therapeutic hemp and use its leaves and inflorescences as one of the ingredients for salads, squeezing juice out of it, drying and using various seasonings, treating neurodegenerative diseases (epilepsy, Parkinson's), supporting diseases motor apparatus, autoimmune diseases. To the extent that if the therapeutic properties of leaves and inflorescences are enhanced by humic acids (they are a catalyst and conductor for the therapeutic properties of hemp), we “pull out” severe forms of cancer. We have documented more than 200 cases of curing the most serious oncological diseases of various forms - skin cancer, internal organs. All this is on MRI, CT and these results can not be invented or faked.

Today we will talk about technical hemp, about its benefits, and the plant is really useful. Why now. We learn about all this in Alexander Ignatyuk, the president of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association in our studio. Good morning.
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Good morning
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Can you tell us briefly about the Association?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
The Association was created at the end of 2011 by business entities engaged in industrial hemp breeding in our country and since 2012 we have been active in the Ukrainian market. What this manifested itself in is information and analytical services for business entities that are engaged in the cultivation / processing / sales of technical hemp, this is the introduction of changes to the regulatory framework. In particular, the Association lobbied, and, thank God, the state structures of our country helped us. With our participation, several resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, several departmental normative legal acts, which significantly simplified the activity of hemp breeding in Ukraine, were adopted. In fact, since 2012 we can say that there was a renaissance of hemp breeding in the territory of our country.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Tobo, when the Association appeared, did the changes in hemp production begin?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
If you look at the dynamics of the industry, we can say that at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union in Ukraine there were 35 primary hemp processing plants. We have grown up to 100 thousand hectares of hemp. Hemp is generally the most highly profitable crop. As of 2011, at the time of the creation of the Association, only three enterprises were operating. Of these, there is one state structure that has been involved in hemp breeding to this day for more than 85 years, one primary processing plant that worked in the interests of the Kharkov Cable Plant and one enterprise that was engaged in textiles. That's it, the market almost collapsed to the size of 200 hectares - this is nothing for agriculture. And a catastrophic situation of this kind was connected with the misunderstanding of government officials in the industry, as well as the substitution of cannabis for marijuana, which led to the adoption of regulations in which cannabis production became economically unprofitable. What the Association did was jointly in 2012 (at that time, the State Drug Control Service of Ukraine dealt with this issue - thanks a lot to the leadership of this structure, and we were members of the Public Council at the State Drug Control Service), we raised a question and they listened to us, gathered several round tables, several expert meetings. We really explained at all levels of government that hemp breeding is extremely highly profitable and without a dime of money, the SSCC, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, submitted documents to amend the Cabinet of Ministers and in August 2012, hemp was removed. This allowed 80% of the financial resource that was spent on absolutely unnecessary protection for anyone (technical hemp is not socially dangerous) was removed. And since 2013, the start of the development of the industry has been considered.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Technical hemp is the plant from which clothes are made - what is the use?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Today we can say that it is up to 50 thousand items of various products. These are food products, cosmetics, biologically active / feed additives, bioenergy, textiles / knitwear / shoes, biocomposite materials and nowadays a very fashionable modern direction is medical use of hemp. Therefore, the range of use of this plant is simply huge, and when any investor comes to the Association (there are companies that work within the framework of the Association that are directly involved in consulting) and try to enter the field of industrial hemp breeding, we traditionally have the phrase “Hemp is such a universal agricultural crop that it can be included in principle in any business (construction, agribusiness, etc.). ” In principle, we have never found a single sphere of activity where it could not be applied. Hemp is applicable everywhere, the plant is so versatile.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
If we talk about the production and cultivation of hemp in Ukraine. How developed is it and what is the profitability? You say that this is a profitable business.
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Technical hemp has always been considered the most highly profitable crop in the world. This data was not invented by me. Analysts in the USA, Canada, Europe say that hemp breeding is so rapidly developing that it can be compared with the dynamics of the Internet 15 years ago. And the financial resources that are invested in the development of this industry and earnings are accordingly comparable with those resources that were invested in the Internet. For example, the Canadian market leaders that emerged 5-7 years ago, which are engaged in the medical field, practically from scratch created companies that are traded on a stock exchange in Canada (in Toronto) for $ 24 billion - these are companies that are 5-7 years old. Therefore, this is indeed the most highly profitable business in our country. If in refraction to our potential, in Ukraine the potential is huge, but unfortunately it is not realized. It is not implemented for several reasons.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
By what?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
First of all, these are still the remaining administrative barriers that state officials create who are trying to "earn money from hemp breeding." I mean, first of all, representatives of law enforcement agencies who are trying to institute criminal proceedings against absolutely legitimate enterprises and then run after the management of enterprises from the category of "give money, and we will close the criminal case."
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Are you talking about making hemp oil?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
But it doesn’t matter. In order to cultivate hemp, an enterprise (any agricultural producer) emphasizes a legal entity (individuals, according to the current legislation, have no right to cultivate hemp) receives permits. Permits require notification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about crops. And this is an absolutely standard situation when, depending on the local state bureaucrat in uniform, who is trying to earn money, he cannot competently conduct operational-search activities related to finding and exposing some wholesale drug dealers. It is easier for him to try to “nip” an agricultural producer. So they come to the enterprise and try to tell under any pretext that the enterprise owes something to them there. I emphasize this, in the presence of all permits. And when they understand that nothing comes of it, the classic scheme is when any BNON operative (this is called “on your pocket”) has several agents or proxies (no matter who) who go to the field (it is not guarded, it is social safe), they cut 50-100 plants there and then write a statement that somewhere in the market I bought and smoked this hemp, and she gave a “parish”. Actually, it’s a lie, but this kind of statement is enough for the Ministry of Internal Affairs operatives to initiate criminal proceedings and then I told the scheme when they follow the leadership of the enterprise from the category “give me money, and we will close the criminal case”. And it is very close.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
What other problems?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
The second main problem is that our country is at war, so it is very difficult to attract large investments in primary and deep processing in Ukraine. And therefore, all enterprises that work in the industry receive a small added value due to the fact that we actually trade in raw materials. If we can create the conditions under which financial resources come to the industry as in the same Canada or Israel, our industry will have a much greater effect and, naturally, earnings will be much higher. For the simplest example, at the moment, almost 70-80% of cannabis growers in Ukraine earn on a seed. Hemp grain, from which food, cosmetics, and products for the zoo business are made. This is actually 10% of the earnings that the plant gives. Another about 30% of the plant’s earnings is provided by straw, which, when it has gone through the maceration process, is called a trust, when the trust is processed and fiber and bonfire are obtained, the fiber is used to produce technical fabrics, shirts, shoes, textiles, knitwear - this gives another 30%. But we have very worn primary processing plants. They are all Soviet-style. The Association took a direct and direct part in this, it can actually be called our project, last year in November, for the first time in Europe, we launched a plant on a mobile platform, which currently operates in Western Ukraine. I hope that next year a large enterprise will also be launched - it will be several primary processing plants, which suggest the further creation of capacities for the deep processing of hemp and pulp production and in the further production of hemp paper. So the straw / trust itself is still partially used by 15-20% of enterprises and gives them 30-40% of the profitability of the plant. With hemp root, which gives another 10% profitability, at the moment we are just starting to work. For the first time, we can say that the cosmetic preparations made in Ukraine based on hemp root emphasize hemp root, which has a very powerful therapeutic effect and in which there are no cannabinoids controlled by the state. To make you understand, these cosmetic preparations that we tested in Austria, they are able to treat eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, lupus, herpes, as well as a huge number of other skin diseases.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
These are shampoos, as I understand it, hand cream
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Yes, that's all we sell. At the moment, these are 17 items. These are just products with high added value, when the company's earnings are not traditional 70-80% as in a seed, then another 100% such as oil refining and production, but another 200-300% when it is already produced specifically for a cosmetic product, which goes abroad, as these products have powerful export potential.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Is it imported?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Yes, including. So, we only started working with the root for the first time this year, and these are the first examples of what we can do with the root. And another 50% of the profitability of the plant gives leaves and inflorescences. “Green mass” of hemp in relation to which there is now a stir around the world, leaves and inflorescences with a very powerful therapeutic effect. At the moment, according to the current legislation, in our country, unfortunately, we cannot work with leaves and inflorescences so far. Here you are, roughly speaking, from 100% profitability
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
So we completely take the plant and can use everything?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Everything. To the extent that even dust is used in enterprises that process trusts, and this is a very liquid product - hemp dust.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Where is it used?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
It is used in road construction. It is added to asphalt, added in order to significantly improve the performance of asphalt in resistance to various temperature conditions. Asphalt during the operation of roads expands and narrows, hemp dust is added, which gives the road surface plasticity and for 15-20 years the asphalt does not deteriorate. This is what we can apply already. Those. even hemp dust is an extremely highly profitable raw material.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
For those who have not yet understood, for me as well, technical hemp and marijuana, how are they different?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
The difference is cardinal. It manifests itself in several moments.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
These are different varieties, right?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
The fundamental difference. By nature, by biology, hemp is a dioecious plant. Those. have mom and dad. In marijuana, female plants are used that have a huge amount of tetrahydrocannabinol, a worldwide controlled substance.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
The one from whom the “coming” is obtained?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Yes. This is an effect that extremely negatively affects the cerebral cortex and eventually leads to partial schizophrenia. And these are not my words, these are studies both in Ukraine and around the world. So, where did the concept of industrial or technical hemp come from. The Soviet Union, and before it tsarist Russia controlled 5/6 of the global hemp market - the entire hemp in the world. In the Soviet Union there were more than 130 primary processing plants. There are 35 in Ukraine and more than 130 in the USSR. About 690 thousand hectares of hemp were grown in the Soviet Union. Hemp gave the money to the treasury as much as the petrodollars currently give money. This is the most highly profitable crop. In 1961, after the adoption of the Unified Convention on Narcotics, the international community began to "put pressure" on the USSR and demand the actual destruction of one of the most highly profitable sectors of the economy — hemp. And no matter how strange this sounds, the Communist Party, realizing how important this sector is for the country's agriculture, twisted out at the initial stages. It was unscrewed in what way, it reported to the UN that all crops of Manchu cannabis were destroyed in the Soviet Union, the next year all crops like (on paper) Indian hemp were destroyed, although neither Manchu nor Indian hemp ever grew on the territory of the USSR. But in parallel, the Communist Party of the Soviet Union set the task for the All-Union Institute of Bast Crops, which is currently located in Glukhov, to create socially safe hemp varieties using selection. And for a very long time, the hermaphrodite was a monoecious plant originally made from hemp dioecious. This is when both mom and dad are on the same plant
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
About dad and mom. The plant, which is mom and dad, has a narcotic effect
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Dad has much less THC, so he’s practically not used, but his mother is used. In our case, the hermaphrodite plant is monoecious. At first, the so-called zoned varieties were created, for example, Central Russian (for the northern latitudes), south-ripening ones - for the Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson regions. And then after 1961, the Communist Party set the task of hemp, which was everywhere grown to remove tetrahydrocannabinol. And so our breeders managed to do what the breeders around the world could not do. By selection, by selection, they created varieties where tetrahydrocannabinol, according to our legislation, is currently below 0.08%. And these hemp varieties are not only socially safe. Even theoretically it is impossible to twist a self-roll from, for example, an area of 15-20 hectares, at the same time smoke to get some kind of effect. That is, the only thing that distinguishes, for example, the maternal forms of marijuana from the technical hemp of a therapeutic orientation, which have a huge therapeutic effect, is precisely the absence of one cannabinoid. Because there are about 420 elements known to science at the moment in a plant that have tremendous therapeutic properties. These are cannabinoids, terpenes, finols, flavonoids and all of them have a very strong, powerful therapeutic effect. So, our breeders managed to make varieties when only one cannabinoid - tetrahydrocannabinol, was practically brought to zero.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
And is tetrahydrocannabinol considered not useful?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Tetrahydrocannabinol itself, scientists are not engaged in this in our country, because according to our current legislation, the use of hemp for medical purposes is not regulated at all in any way, so this should not be done.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Now involved in this bill
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
If there is a desire to see, the authors of the bill contain “Your humble servant”, but this bill is how to say it. In special services, this is called "distraction to an unusable object." I will explain why. In order for the therapeutic properties of hemp leaves and inflorescences to be used as efficiently as possible:
first, it is not necessary to extract from them. Since during the extraction up to 90% of the therapeutic properties of the plant are destroyed. This is not my data, this is the material of the Swiss, Austrians. We are working very closely in this area, we have very good results in this direction, so I can talk about it substantively. When the leaves and inflorescences of therapeutic hemp varieties bred in Ukraine, which are used as a food product, cosmetic product, dietary supplement, have a much greater effect than extracts, now fashionable cannabidiol, which is used in many pharmacological preparations. Why am I saying that the above bill is "distraction to an unfit object." In fact, if, and this is currently being done and will be done by the Association, if we adopt only by-laws aimed at allowing in Ukraine, I emphasize allowing only the use of leaves and inflorescences of technical hemp and then those who grow technical hemp will turn into some kind of marketable product, it will be what salads, teas, seasonings, cosmetic preparations.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Should it be some pills, capsules, syrups?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
You understand that pharmacologists basically earn what. Where does the cost of pharmacological preparations come from - these are patents. And there are thousands of percent profitability. And if changes are made to the by-laws, because the passage of laws is a few years. Even after the adoption of laws through the Verkhovna Rada, after several sessions, it will still be necessary to create by-laws, this is a few more years. And if, together with government agencies, what we are doing now, the use of hemp leaves and inflorescences will be allowed, but not just hemp, but certain varieties of technical hemp, where THC is below 0.08%, and the amount of other cannabinoids, terpenes, of finols, flavonoids is the same or comparable with varieties that have medical properties, then a citizen of Ukraine, having received the relevant permits, it will be possible to plant the plant in his six hundredths.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Bush?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
There is no bush, we can officially grow millions of plants. Those. on their six hundredths, officially legally planting a technical hemp of therapeutic orientation and using its leaves and inflorescences as one of the ingredients for salads, by the way, very tasty leaves and inflorescences, squeezing out of it just juice, drying and using as various seasonings, what now I can say / affirm neurodegenerative diseases (epilepsy, Parkinson's); all this is treated only by eating leaves and inflorescences. Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, what we have encountered, autoimmune diseases. To the extent that if the therapeutic properties of leaves and inflorescences are enhanced in our case, we are actively working with a company that deals with humic acids (they are a catalyst and conductor for the therapeutic properties of hemp). So, working with humic acids, I emphasize that we cannot do this in Ukraine, we do it, as it does not sound wild in Europe, we “pull out” severe forms of cancer. Our leaves and inflorescences are taken only as raw materials, humic acids are added in certain proportions, and we have documented more than 200 cases of curing the most serious oncological diseases of various forms. Cancer of the skin, internal organs. All this is on MRI, is on CT and it is impossible to think up or fake these results.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Is it all going abroad?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
It all happens abroad. In Ukraine, the use of hemp for medical purposes is prohibited. Therefore, the varieties that are created in Ukraine, we are forced to either sell these varieties abroad, or the second option is to grow these varieties, our Ukrainian varieties abroad, and our raw materials with our specialists who go there make preparations and these preparations give such results. Moreover, our specialists are trying to document all this correctly, demonstrate and explain to our state structures that give us the opportunity to work with leaves and inflorescences, and we will treat our citizens. Why do we need pharmacological preparations for 600-800 euros. We have drugs that have much greater therapeutic properties and cost dozens of times cheaper - 200-300 hryvnia, and this works effectively.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
If we are talking about those substances that, as you have already said, help fight cancer, what makes this happen?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
This is the nature of the plant. The endocannabinoid system exists in the human body. It is on a level with the circulatory, nervous systems and is one of the oldest human signaling systems, which is responsible for counteracting external aggressive environments and diseases. Recovery of the endocannabinoid system occurs mainly due to cannabinoids, and cannabinoids are found in hemp. Therefore, using hemp, a person restores his endocannabinoid system, which stretches the physiology of the whole organism. But, I immediately want to emphasize that I am not a pharmacologist, not a doctor. There are specialists who explain this point in more detail. I explain in general, at the level of my understanding, how this happens. But the fact that it works in any format I can demonstrate on documents.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
It all works. What are the chances that drugs will appear in Ukraine, if we are talking about the bill. In the future, this will become a reality for us so that we can be treated, and we talked about research not only in this studio, but so that more people know about them?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Ukraine basically repeats the trajectory of movement in this direction of the entire world community.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Does the same thing happen in the world?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Not really. The tendency to use drug-free cannabinoids, terpenes, finols, flavonoids in various manifestations has a history of about 20 years. It began with Israel some 20 years ago. They began to work actively with her about 10 years ago, and everywhere, I emphasize everywhere in Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, in other European countries cannabinoids were added to food, cosmetics, biologically active additives - everywhere. But, the huge therapeutic effect of the plant leads to what - a lot less people go to the pharmacy, right. People get much less sick. And this trend began three years ago in the UK and Germany, the large pharmacological companies of these two countries, individual companies of Canada and Israel are very serious in this matter, initiated a company according to which they are trying to monetize the therapeutic properties of hemp, they are trying to make money on them. And how can you make money on them? This person is “driven” to the pharmacy in order to buy pharmacological preparations. Therefore, just this year, the EU Directive came into force, according to which, as it sounds wild, food, cosmetics, hemp-based dietary supplements are ranked as the so-called “new products”. And “new products” in order to bring them to market requires a lot of research, a lot of financial resources. And in fact, after the adoption of this kind of Directive, a huge range of drugs, food, cosmetics based on the therapeutic properties of hemp were simply cut off from the market. There is the European Association of Cannabis growers, which in the EU Parliament proved, explained that hemp is a traditional food product, known since the creation of the Vatican.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
If you use oil from hemp
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Wait, what kind of oil. There is oil just squeezed from hemp seed.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Which is sold in stores here in Ukraine
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
Ukraine has its own situation with hemp oil. Hemp oil is squeezed from hemp seeds. And the key point is that in the seed from which the oil is crushed, there is a nucleolus in it. The nucleolus is a vegetable protein. So this vegetable protein, if you remember a thermometer up to 42 degrees, if the effect on this vegetable protein is 40 or more degrees, the protein burns. Therefore, traditionally, our hemp oil is made on conventional grain presses. Therefore, the whole of Ukraine is "flooded" not with hemp oil, but with hemp linseed oil. Because in the working part of any grain press, the temperature is 80-130 degrees.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Is this oil ineffective?
President of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association Alexander Ignatyuk
She is, but she is a trail. And really high-quality hemp oil in Ukraine is crushed by only one company. So that you understand their cooling unit, which cools the working part, it costs more than the press itself. Naturally, none of the producers bothers on this subject, therefore, traditionally, we choke on a regular drying oil called hemp oil. Why did we start for hemp oil. There is hemp oil that is made from hemp seeds. Properly squeezed hemp seed oil at a temperature below 40 degrees has a very significant therapeutic effect and it has a huge range of trace elements, Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9. It works very well on the skin, on the internal organs. Oil cures the gastrointestinal tract, protects ulcers - it has a huge positive properties. But hemp oil squeezed from hemp seeds and the so-called CBD oil is oil made from the leaves and inflorescences of a plant, the principle is different there. In this oil, squeezed from the leaves and inflorescences of hemp, a huge number of therapeutically active substances are cannabinoids, terpenes, finols, flavonoids. So this hemp oil cures up to the most severe forms of cancer. But according to the current legislation of Ukraine, remember, I said it was impossible to work with leaves and inflorescences, law enforcement agencies perceive this CBD oil as hash oil. Working with hash oil is a criminal offense.
AgroFM correspondent Lyudmila Lyakhevich
Even so. Today I learned a lot of information and discovered a lot of information about hemp. If our listeners have questions, but I am sure that they appear. Leave them under the video you are currently reviewing.
