Brief descriptions of seven hemp cookbooks over the past few years, published only on the American market, are presented.

There is a huge layer of culinary recipes based on the exclusive taste of the various components of hemp plants. A significant number of them can be found on the Internet or in old cookbooks. On the pages of the profile electronic publication of Ukrainian hemp breeder, which is an integral part of the Ukrainian Technical Hemp Association , there is a permanent project “ Hemp cooking", Which contains hundreds of recipes for the use of grain, leaves and inflorescences, root, young shoots of a plant, as well as derivatives of the above constituents of hemp as tasty and extremely useful ingredients in various dishes. Given the excitement recently surrounding the population of Ukraine due to the fact that the citizens of our country are beginning to realize the therapeutic properties of various parts of hemp, as well as the fact that their use as a tasty and useful alternative to pharmacological drugs imposed on us from the outside, we are making a modest attempt to inform Our readers about modern cookbooks written only in the USA, the basis of recipes in which are the various components of the plant.

Cannabis cookbook

Hemp cookbook published by High Times magazine. It contains simple and affordable recipes, as well as tips on using various components of hemp as a tasty and healthy product used in snacks, hemp cocktails, flour products and even sweets (cakes, chiskeyki, sweets, etc.).

Modern Cannabis Kitchen

A book written by two female chefs organizing holiday events. It contains 30 unique recipes for confectionery, as well as various kinds of treats for parties. It includes both simple (truffles, fried beetroot hummus) and more complex recipes for cooked hemp dishes in a regular kitchen (marshmallows, cheeses or green garlic broth). The highlight is that all recipes are based on the use of various hemp ingredients. 

Cannabis cuisine

This cannabis cookbook, based on the popular television series Munchies and Viceland Bong Appétit, contains 65 hemp recipes for sweet and savory foods, as well as cocktails. The book is equipped with the skills necessary to prepare snacks for each meal with various hemp ingredients. In addition, she offers quite complicated recipes - from cooking chicken with butter from the leaves of the plant to the perfect sauce for chimichurri meat or fruit delicacies or hemp cakes.
