High-CBD technical industrial hemp will be sold in the UK
It is necessary in relevant state structures to actively raise the question of the appropriateness of amending by-laws of Ukraine, according to which individuals can legally grow technical hemp (including therapeutic ones), as well as provide legal regulation of the possibility of using raw materials of non-drug hemp containing a significant amount cannabinoids, terpenes, terpenoids, finols, other extremely active therapeutically substances as products food products, cosmetics, dietary / feed additives, etc. The implementation of these issues does not imply amendments to the laws of Ukraine and can be implemented within 3-4 months by adopting departmental regulatory legal acts (as has been done at the moment in economically developed countries of the world).
The pages of the profile electronic publication of Ukrainian hemp breeders, which is one of the projects of the Ukrainian Technical Cannabis Association, previously described what efforts are spent by economically developed countries of the world (France, Canada, the Russian Federation) to develop the growing / processing / selling industry based on the processing of technical hemp therapeutic directionality. This is even more relevant because in our country in 2019 the therapeutic-grade hemp variety will be included in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine.
Starting September 1, cannabidiol products manufactured by Clever Leaves, a Colombian company, will be sold in the UK and other European Union countries. Hemp products that are exported from South America as a dietary supplement pass through the necessary customs procedures until August 31 at London Heathrow Airport, after which they will be sold in Europe. All commodity items exported from Colombia have a significant content of cannabidiol, are made from hemp raw materials, with a low content of tetrahydrocannabinol (technical hemp) and, therefore, are sold in OTC form.

The leadership of Pharmacielo, invested in Canadian hemp growers and whose main production facilities are located in Colombia, announced on July 25 that it "has completed the legislative process to obtain the necessary permits to begin Colombia's first commercial export and sale of non-psychoactive CBD isolate." In addition, on August 1, the aforementioned Colombian company with Canadian investors announced that it would significantly increase its production capacity in order to increase the export potential of its products, followed by the sale of manufactured raw materials to North America and Europe.
