Cannabidiol (CBD, CBD) is a drug-free cannabinoid found in certain amounts in various hemp varieties. Its anxiolytic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties are known to make CBD one of the best natural ingredients for treating skin diseases.
Various hemp ingredients, including cannabidiol (in the composition of leaves and inflorescences) were actively used in antiquity for the preparation of effective cosmetics, as well as in various salons where body and hair care services were provided. Despite the fact that during the 20th century hemp ingredients “fell out” of the field of view of the industry specializing in body and hair care, in the past few decades hemp-based cosmetic products have been actively “gaining” their market position. . Recently, hemp cosmetic products are positioned as the main element of a new generation of cosmetics, which are characterized by such characteristics as environmental friendliness and naturalness. In particular, hemp oil is rich in vitamins B and E, essential fatty acids (Omega-3, Omega-6).
Cosmetic preparations made on the basis of hemp ingredients provide a healing, and in the case of the use of drug-free cannabinoids (primarily cannabidiol), a therapeutic effect on the skin. A feature of hemp cosmetics is the fact that it is suitable for any type of skin (from young to mature, including the most sensitive and from oily to dry), and after its use, a moisturizing, nourishing, calming, restoring effect is observed. More and more hygiene and cosmetics products are entering the national hemp market, which have a number of exclusive therapeutic properties - soap, cream, gels, balms, shampoos, etc.

In almost all European countries, as well as in the USA and Canada, sales of cosmetic products made from technical hemp are allowed if varieties are officially entered in the register of plant varieties of the countries in which they are grown. Cannabidiol (CBD, CBD) is a drug-free cannabinoid found in certain amounts in various varieties of industrial hemp. Its anxiolytic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties are known to make CBD one of the best natural ingredients for treating skin diseases.
Numerous clinical trials have shown that CBD interacts not only with TRVP-1 receptors, which are present in the skin and are responsible for burning and even pain, but also with CB2 receptors present in the immune system - i.e. CBD has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. This drug-free cannabinoid provides an antioxidant effect, actually helping to eliminate free radicals (a kind of waste present in the body). It is these exclusive properties of drug-free cannabinoids that make them particularly effective in dermatology. Among other things, cannabidiol helps relieve chronic skin diseases such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, peeling or rosacea, which are very difficult to treat, soothes such unpleasant manifestations as itching, tingling and burning.
Drug-free cannabinoids have a calming, relaxing effect (both physical and mental associated with sports or impaired sleep quality), which makes cosmetic products based on them extremely popular. An important factor in terms of skin care is the smoothing of the stress factor, which stimulates the appearance of skin dysfunctions.
Various cosmetic products based on cannabidiol have proven effective on the skin. They can be applied locally, for example, on a very sensitive area or mixed with a greasy base for body care. Due to local application, the calming effect of CBD is felt within a few minutes.
