On the pages of the specialized electronic edition of national cannabis growers, the experience of introducing hemp wine from Spain to local or interregional markets has been described more than once (Cannawine - Hemp wine at a wine fair in Spain, http://tku.org.ua/ru/news/konoplyanoe-vino -winabis), Italy (Hemp wine from Italy), USA (Hemp wine using hemp oil in the recipe). The attention of our esteemed readers and listeners was focused on “Why the American experience of blocking the introduction of a new brand of hemp wine on the market can be of interest to producers in Ukraine”. Taking into account the interest of consumers in this segment of products, as well as national developments in the use of various ingredients of the hemp plant in the formulations of various wines of our country, it will be interesting to know about the launch of another sample of non-alcoholic sparkling wine on the US market.

American hemp drink expert, author of the popular US hemp food blog and certified wine specialist (holder of the highest award of the Guild of Wine Scientists) Jamie Evans unveiled the country's first non-alcoholic sparkling wine, which contains hemp ingredients, on the US market on July 15. Herbacée (French for herbal) is a new drink that celebrates both the hemp flower and the vine. According to Ms. Evans, a number of American companies (“House of Saka”, “Rebel Coast”, “Viv & Oak”, “TVM” - http://tku.org.ua/ru/news/5957, “Verdad Wines ”- http://tku.org.ua/ru/news/5083) are actively working on the creation of appropriate hemp wine recipes. Despite this, this segment of modern cannabis breeding is extremely promising and, despite the interest from potential customers, is not filled. That is why Mrs. Evans took an active part in the development of the non-alcoholic sparkling wine “Herbacée”, which combines the best characteristics of the above drink and hemp, which enhance each other's exclusive characteristics. According to Ms Evans, many of the world's most popular wines are based on blending, hence the Herbacée concept, which is based on the blending of two exclusive ingredients that give the wine an exclusive aroma, taste and therapeutic properties.

Several companies specializing in their market segment participated in the creation of Herbacée non-alcoholic sparkling wines. For example, the blend of cannabinoids used in Herbacée was created by the company Vertosa, which specializes in the application of infusion technologies. BevZero has helped create non-alcoholic wine blends from the leading wine regions of California's Central Coast.

According to the business plan developed by the manufacturing company, Herbacée is to be introduced to the California market in the fall of 2021, starting with Sparkling Rose, a pink blend made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Mourvèdre and Sins. with the addition of a number of cannabinoids to the wine recipe. In the spring of 2022, another Herbacée offering will be launched on the American market under the name Sparkling Blanc, a line of still wines with various hemp-infused wines and wine elixirs.
