The effectiveness of using "Mriya" for the prevention of migraines

heading_title

The efficiency of using the leaves and inflorescences of therapeutic hemp of the "Mriya" variety is not inferior to pharmacological preparations (traditional or made on the basis of medical hemp) aimed at reducing the discomfort of consumers, and in the overwhelming number of cases exceeds the results obtained by European and North American scientists in the course of using foreign varieties of technical hemp for therapeutic purposes.

On the pages of the specialized electronic edition of Ukrainian cannabis growers, more than once attention has been focused on the fact that the use of therapeutically active elements of the plant helps to cope with the problem of development, prevention, and prevention of various kinds of neurodegenerative diseases. The mechanisms by which the hemp constituents work effectively for migraines have been described , as well as how medical hemp helps in the treatment of this disease .

Taking into account the centuries-old world, including national experience of using the plant in the treatment of migraines, as well as the developments of European and North American specialists in the use of leaves and inflorescences of technical hemp for therapeutic purposes for the treatment of a disease that affects about 15% of the population of our planet, Ukrainian specialists in 2020 conducted experiments on this topic. They were aimed at confirming or refuting the possibility of using the leaves and inflorescences of technical hemp with a therapeutic orientation for the prevention / treatment of systematic or periodic pain sensations provoked by migraines, which suffered from consumers of hemp products made on the basis of the therapeutic properties entered in the national register of plants allowed for cultivation in Ukraine variety "Mriya" (certificate No. 191038 on state registration).

Consumers have used the leaves and flowers of technical hemp variety "Mriya" exclusively for industrial purposes in several forms:

- as a supplement to the traditional diet (ingredients for salads, seasonings for various dishes) - food / nutraceuticals;

- processing of leaves and flowers by methods that exclude extraction (making juices or smoothies) with the provision of opportunities for the use of freshly squeezed or canned products - drinks;

- enhancement of the therapeutically active properties of the plant by means of natural catalysts by methods that exclude extraction - dietary / food / biologically active additives.

Based on the results of the experiments, the following conclusions can be drawn:

- all of the above forms of using the therapeutically active elements of technical hemp of therapeutic orientation of the "Mriya" variety with varying degrees of intensity cope with sporadic or systematic painful sensations provoked by migraines in consumers;

- the efficiency of using the leaves and inflorescences of therapeutic hemp of the "Mriya" variety is not inferior to pharmacological preparations (traditional or made on the basis of medical hemp) aimed at reducing the discomfort of consumers, and in the overwhelming number of cases exceeds the results obtained by European and North American scientists in the course of using foreign varieties of technical hemp for therapeutic purposes;

- periodic or regular use of foodstuffs, drinks, dietary / food / biologically active additives made on the basis of leaves and inflorescences of technical hemp of therapeutic orientation of the Ukrainian variety "Mriya" helps to prevent the occurrence of migraines in the event of their sporadic appearance or a significant decrease in their number and intensity if the process is systematic.

Commentary of experts of the Association "Ukrainian technical hemp"

In our country, there is an absolutely legal and legal mechanism for growing therapeutic varieties of technical hemp, the amount of controlled tetrahydrocannabinol in the dried mass of which does not exceed the maximum permissible value of 0.08%. Taking into account the effectiveness of using the therapeutic properties of leaves and inflorescences of at least the above-mentioned variety for industrial purposes, the question arises "in whose interests the company is aimed at lobbying for the import of foreign pharmaceutical preparations based on therapeutically active elements of the hemp plant into our country."

If you look just a century ago, you can see that almost every peasant in our country has always had the best few acres of land for growing hemp. The seeds were traditionally used as food, the stem for the manufacture of fiber (tissues), fires (construction, heating), and the root (in its characteristics is comparable to the ginseng root), as well as the leaves and inflorescences have traditionally been used as prophylactic agents for a huge number of diseases , used as a food product or in the form of juices / smoothies, as well as used for recovery and treatment. Why, ignoring the traditional for our country methods of using the leaves and inflorescences of drug-free cannabis, which is absolutely socially safe, instead of regulating the possibilities for the cheapest and most effective use of the plant for industrial purposes, we are forced to have no alternative to purchasing foreign pharmaceuticals for quite significant financial resources, the effectiveness of which, at best, does not differ from the therapeutically active elements created in the plant by nature itself.
