Cannabinoid cream as a local anesthetic
Cannabinoid cosmetic preparations not only
perform their basic functions and solve problems with the skin of the human
body. Possessing a long-term therapeutic effect, they can be effectively used
as a local immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory agent, as well as an effective
natural substance designed to localize / neutralize various kinds of pain,
working without any side effects.
As part of the ongoing information and analytical platform
“ Hemp Consulting ” of the study “The hemp beauty industry in the world and
Ukraine (from the use of grain derivatives, young shoots and roots in the
formulations of cosmetic preparations, to the “green mass” of the hemp plant)”,
representatives of the test groups drew attention to the fact that cannabinoid
creams, in which there is a significant amount of vegetable cannabidiol, having
an excellent moisturizing effect that promotes skin elasticity, as well as
solving a number of dermatological problems of the upper integument of the
human body, they do an excellent job not only with their main functions, but
also work effectively as a local anesthetic.
After studying the data obtained and partially correcting
the results of regularly conducted surveys of test respondents, it was found
that creams / gels / patches, which include a large amount of cannabidiol of
plant origin , in addition to treating a significant number of skin problems,
have the ability to:
• having immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties
to effectively deal with various types of inflammatory processes (primarily in
the musculoskeletal system);
• localize or significantly reduce the pain that occurs in
a particular part of the human body. Plant cannabinoids help relieve pain by
suppressing pro- inflammatory cytokines that are released during injury;
• bioaccumulation (accumulation in the tissues of a certain
amount of plant cannabidiol), and therefore the therapeutic effect will be
longer than that of other drugs with a therapeutic effect;
• for a long period of time to therapeutically influence
the problem, which allows not only to reduce it, but also to treat the basis of
the disease as effectively as possible;
• prevent damage to nerve endings. Ongoing research shows
that the use of cannabinoid creams can prevent neurological damage in the areas
of application. For people who apply it to their knees, ankles, and feet, it
can help delay neuropathy and improve overall well-being.
