National project of hemp 3D construction
The concept of technology is proposed, within which within 4 months grown hemp raw material is processed in a field mobile installation and added to a biological solution consisting of natural materials. In the future, the resulting building mix is used as the only component used by the 3D printer to print the building, with the parameters specified by the architect.
Developing the applied building technology for insulation of buildings and structures with 100% natural hemp-based insulation (weighing 260 kg / m3), one of the members of the Association "Ukrainian technical hemp" entered the final part of the projects presented at the GIC Ukraine 2017. The idea of the author Project is to print horizontal and vertical surfaces on a 3D printer, leading to the construction of buildings and structures that have a "negative carbon footprint." As follows from the specifics of the company's work, houses are planned to be made from technical hemp.
Possessing experience of building and warming houses from hemp kostrabeton, the author of the project proposed a concept of technology, within which within 4 months grown hemp raw material is processed in a field mobile installation and added to a biological solution consisting of natural materials. In the future, the resulting building mix is used as the only component used by the 3D printer to print the building, with the parameters specified by the architect. Seal of this kind of construction according to the calculations made takes 2 to 5 days, and as a building material, hemp raw materials are used with 1.5-2 hectares of industrial sowing of technical hemp.
It is especially emphasized that toxic and non-organic building materials are completely excluded from the process of hemp 3 D construction, namely: synthetic or mineral heaters, fiberboard, particle board, OSB-plates, various kinds of polyethylene membranes, metal profiles or fossil building materials.
Comments of the Association "Ukrainian technical hemp"
Participants of GIC Ukraine 2017 had to come up with a project that uses the achievements of science and technology to solve the global problem of climate change. The program of the event is financed by Google, NASA and Singularity University. Projects were selected according to the principle of influence on human progress over the next 10 years.
