The formulation of the CBD lotion for hair and beard of the “PHYTODYNAMIC CANNABINOID COSMETICS” line is based on the properties of cannabidiol extract, manufactured using a specially created gentle technology that allows you to extract the maximum possible amount of therapeutically active elements without violating their integrity and natural connections created by nature.

The endocannabinoids anandamide (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) are produced locally in different discrete areas of the skin (e.g., epidermis, sebaceous gland, hair follicle - green arrows). These endocannabinoids, via binding to cannabinoid receptors (CB1/CB2), control proper and balanced skin functions (e.g., sensitivity, growth, longevity, immune competence and/or tolerance) (red arrows). For example, activation of CB1 and CB2 in the epidermis by locally produced endocannabinoids results in increased cell regeneration, modification and release of inflammatory mediators. Likewise, endocannabinoids via CB1/CB2 suppress inflammatory responses of immune cells. Moreover, activation of CB1 in the hair follicle by AEA significantly improves hair quality, quantity and growth rate. In another part of the hair follicle (i.e., the sebaceous glands), locally released endocannabinoids markedly increase lipid production and apoptosis (a regulated process of cell death) via CB2. In addition, skin-derived endocannabinoids suppress various sensory phenomena (e.g., pain, itching, etc.) via CB1, generating corresponding signals on the sensory nerves.

The technological basis for the use of cannabidiol extract is the maximum complete penetration of CBD lotion for hair and beard into the skin of the head and face (for which the drug is rubbed into the skin with light massaging movements or absorbed for 30-60 minutes) and its absorption.
