Industrial hemp stalks contain a significant amount of cellulose in their composition, which makes the use of raw materials of this bast fiber crop extremely promising from the point of view of its use for the manufacture of cellulose-containing, biocomposite, as well as other materials in demand on the market.
Based on the ongoing research, the results of which have already been embodied in a number of implemented and promising projects, the basis of which is the physical and biological properties of straw / trusts / fiber / fires of a hemp plant, the specialists of the information and analytical platform Hemp Consulting prepared a presentation used to train students of the Hemp University.
The presentation consists of the following sections:
• chemical composition of various representatives of plant materials;
• chemical composition and length of hemp raw materials;
• obtaining a fibrous semi-finished product by the natron method (sample No. 1);
• obtaining a fibrous semi-finished product by the natron method (sample No. 2);
• obtaining a fibrous semi-finished product by a neutral sulfite method;
• indicators of the quality of cellulose obtained by the soda method (sample No. 1);
• indicators of the quality of cellulose obtained by the soda method (sample No. 2);
• quality indicators of cellulose obtained by the neutral-sulfite method (sample No. 1);
• quality indicators of cellulose obtained by the neutral-sulfite method (sample No. 2);
• technical and economic indicators of the effectiveness of the implementation of the proposed technology for producing trusts from non-narcotic monoecious hemp straw and its mechanical processing with the length of trunks crushing 40 mm;
• classification of hemp fibers for various functional purposes according to the main quality indicators;
• quality indicators of base paper (part 1);
• quality indicators of base paper (part 2)
