Modern economic aspects of cannabis growing in Ukraine

A feature of the hemp plant is the possibility of its 100% use in various sectors of modern production processes. Depending on the changing market conditions or on the internal capabilities of agricultural producers or processors of hemp raw materials, the methods of plant cultivation may change partly or radically at certain intervals. Therefore, one of the key questions that a hemp grower must solve before starting to operate on the market is to determine the method of cultivating a plant based on the tasks set before him, in the course of growing or processing hemp raw materials.

Based on the practical results obtained by business entities in the hemp market, the specialists of the information and analytical platform “Hemp Consulting” annually study the economic efficiency of cultivation and processing of the hemp plant, which is demonstrated both by individual business entities and by its individual sectors.

Focusing on the features of various methods of cultivating industrial hemp, as well as the results obtained in this case, the dynamics of prices of both individual categories of hemp raw materials and products with significant added value produced from it is monitored.

A deep understanding of the ongoing processes in the industry leads to the study of the prerequisites for the emergence of conditions for new areas of modern cannabis production or the expansion of existing businesses. The analysis of systematized data makes it possible to prepare relevant studies or provide business entities interested in this with objective analytical information, including that implemented through the preparation of materials on various areas of development of modern cannabis breeding.
